Hi! My name is Vili and I make games come alive through sound.
I’m an Audio Designer for video games with 11 years of experience and based in Québec, Canada. Currently, I work at Ubisoft doing both creative and technical audio design for open world titles such as Assassin's Creed Shadows and Immortals Fenyx Rising.
Throughout the years I've had the opportinity to contribute to a variety of titles and wear many hats. You can read more about all of that here. Prior to Ubisoft, I studied game production and business in Kajaani University of Applied Sciences in Finland where I received my Bachelor's Degree in 2015.
My current professional interests lean toward efficient audio creation pipelines, scalable systems, cinematic audio and foley, haptic feedback and accessibility. I take pride in helping others in the field and making sure that games can be enjoyed by everyone.
Outside of work you may spot me in the wild hunting new sound treasures with my trusty recorder in the backpack.
